Woodrow “Woody” Self, age 83, of Pace, Florida passed awayon January 8, 2022, in St. Louis, MO. Woody was born on July 9, 1938, in Raleigh, North Carolina son to the late Jean Self Medlin. In addition to his mother,
Woody is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lee McMillan Self, son Franklin Glen Self, and brother Bobby Self.
Woody is survived by his daughter, Marlene Nelson and husband Jeff of Pace, Florida; son, Jeffrey Self and wife Sarah of St. Louis, Missouri; his grandson, Christopher Nelson; granddaughters, Ashley and Madison Humme; sister, Louise McCormick of Boston, Massachusetts, Uncle Mack Self of Raleigh, North Carolina. Sister-in laws Barbara Rushing, ShirleyMcMillan, Sue Kalmar (deceased), Linda Wadkins and a host ofnieces and nephews.
Woody and his wife Lee raised their family in Clarksville, TN and he worked for many years in the trucking industry.
