Wilton J. Sowell, age 73 of Clarksville passed away Friday, June 24, 2022.
Celebration of life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the
Wilton entered this life on August 6, 1948, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Wilton H. Sowell and Mary Smith Sowell. He was a graduate of Austin Peay State University and was a published author. Wilton enjoyed playing pool and spending time with friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Terry Lynn Sowell; brothers, Roy, Robert, Billy and Jesse Wade Sowell.
Survivors include his sister, Judy Clark, and many friends.
