Willie Mae Walton, 92, Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Kirby officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Willie Mae was born May 31, 1920 in Montgomery County, daughter of Henry and Nannie Evans Shelby. She was a beautician and a member of Hilldale Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Walton, Sr. and her brother, Urbane Shelby.
Survivors include her son, Tommy Walton and his wife Stacey of Parma Heights, OH; her daughter, Maynette Jackson of Springfield; her brothers, Edward Shelby of Woodlawn, Rex Shelby of Woodlawn, Malcom Shelby of Clarksville; grandchildren, Amanda Sherrill, Adam Spann, Zachary Spann, Thomas T. Walton, Michaela Walton, and Kaitlyn Walton; great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Samuel Sherrill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Adam Spann, Zachary Spann, Bobby Clardy, Staton Shelby, Mike Shelby, and Paul Shelby.
