Willie Hutson

Willie Ray Hutson, 83, Clarksville, went home to be with her heavenly Father February 1, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Hutson-Atkins Cemetery, Palmyra. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 24, 1925 in Clarksville, TN, to Willie Sue & Tom W. Ray. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Homer P. Hutson Sr.; brothers, Earl Allison, Virgil Allison; sister, Annie Ruth Smith. Survivors include her sons, Phil (Elaine) Hutson, Mark (Connie) Hutson; daughter, Sue (Mike) Atkins; grandchildren, Holly (Stacy) Brown, Sam (Tracy) Hutson, Katie and Robin Hutson, Dan Atkins and Casey (Kyle) Atkins-Murphy; great-grandchildren, Abby, Samantha, Austin, Caleb, Anderson, Camryn and Jamari. Granny loved her church, her Sunday School Class, her family and especially her grandkids! Granny was the untimate caregiver and always a gracious hostess. Granny loved the Lord and was a Godly example not only to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but also all of those she came came into contact with in her daily life. We will miss her unconditional love, compassion, quiet strength, and always her cookin'!
