William Thomas Swaw, Sr., age 65 of Southside, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Rye’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
William was born on November 25, 1950 in Nashville, the son of the late Clifton Swaw and Annie Christy Swaw. He worked and retired as a welder for A.O. Smith Company and had a love for horses.
He is survived by his son, William (Kayla) Swaw, Jr. and Jeremy Swaw; grandchildren, Ashton Swaw and Ethan Rone; brothers, Gary Swaw and Timmy Swaw; sisters, Kay Swaw Groves, Melissa Brumitt, and Tina Murphy.
