William "Smitty" Price

William “Smitty” Price, age 79 of Erin, TN, passed away February 22, 2022.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Erin United Methodist Church with Rev. Jamie Mandrell officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The Price family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nave Funeral Home and again from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon at the church.
Smitty entered this life on December 6, 1942 in Paris, TN, son to the late Cecily and Bonnie Kate Price. Smitty worked for the Houston County School System for over 50 years where he served as a Teacher and Coach. Smitty was a former Vice Mayor and alderman for the City of Erin and was a member of Erin United Methodist Church. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Smitty was preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years, Marilynn Price.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Teresa Price; grandchildren, Bonnie Kate (Blake) Jackson, Christine Price (Justin) Grubbs, Elisa Beth Ateca; great-grandchildren, William Caleb Steakley, Holden Blake Jackson, Grayson Julian Grubbs; and brother, Cecily Thomas Price.
Serving as pallbearers are James Tomlinson, Ricky Tomlinson, Kenneth Meadows, Tommy Meadows, Gary “Shorty” Meadows and Chucky Featherstone.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Meachum, William Beverly Price and Page Price.
