William Thomas Rae, 63, Clarksville, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 12-6 p.m. Sunday and from 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. He was born May 11, 1946 in Englewood, NJ and was the son of the late Samuel Rae and Kathleen Roberts Rae Grasser and was also preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Grasser. Mr. Rae was a retired SFC with the U.S. Army and a VietNam Veteran, former owner of Rae's Car Center, former Oak Grove Police Officer and a Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Xuyen Thi Rae; sons, William Rae Jr., Dominick Rae, Anthony Rae; daughter, Alexandra King, all of Clarksville; brother, Dominick Rae, NJ; sister, Celeste Wroldsen, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Brooks, Cheyenne Rae, Nateleigh Rae; great-grandchildren, Wesley Peters and Evelyn Brooks.
