William Henry Owens, 79 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehab.
A celebration of life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.
William was born October 7, 1935 in Norton, VA, the son of the late Percy and Margaret Meade Owens. He proudly served his country and retired after 20 years of service with the U.S. Army. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam. Also, William was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
He is survived by daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Mann, Pamela Owens Meade, and Daven Hunigan; son, William H. Owens, Jr.; several brothers and sisters; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
