William Osborne

Mr. William Thomas “Tom” Osborne Sr, age 92 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Osborne Jr and Bro. Artist Wynick officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery with full military honors.
The Osborne family will receive friends on Tuesday from noon until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon.
Tom entered this life on March 8, 1925 in Houston County, TN. Upon graduation, Tom joined the United States Army where he proudly served in 37 missions as a B17 Bomber including fighting as a Tail Gunner in WWII. Upon the completion of his military duties, Tom lived in Richfield, OH, for 30 years before returning to Houston County where he lived for the remainder of his life. Tom loved his family, friends, music, color, and was physically active until his time of passing.
Tom was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Jane Osborne.
Survivors include his loving wife, Angeline Selph Osborne; children, Barbara Haeme (Ray), William Thomas Osborne Jr, and Cathy Allison (Lyn). Tom also leaves behind seven grandchildren, their spouses, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
