William Welton North

William Welton North, age 86 of Stewart, TN, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 8, 2024 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family.     

   William entered this life on November 8, 1937 in Topeka, KS, son to the late John North and Mary Silversmith North. William served as administrator for the Lions Club for over 20 years, and was the owner and operator of his roofing business. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  

   In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Rose North, daughters, Leota Powell, and Debra Sue Moore.  

   William leaves behind his daughters, Billie Romansik, Betty North; step-son, David Barnes; 8 grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
