William Laxton

William Ray Laxton, age 54 of Erin, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Houston County Community Hospital in Erin, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Faye Winstead and Bro. Tony Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in Barnes Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
William entered this life on November 14, 1960 in Waverly, TN, son of the late Joe and Hazel Laxton. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Darlene Laxton; brothers, Larry Laxton, and Joe Dale Laxton; and nephew Brandon Henson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tammy Reynolds Laxton; daughter, Shelby Reynolds; grandson, Prestyn Johnson; two brothers, David Laxton, and Cary Laxton; and five sisters, Faye Dennis, Nancy Cobb, Karen Hinson, Lisa Smith, and Melissa Mayes. William also leaves behind six nephews, thirteen nieces, eleven great nephews, eighteen great nieces, and three great-great nieces.
Serving as pallbearers will be Alfreno Johnson, Jason Laxton, Darian Dennis, Dewayne Ray, Chris Herrington, JB Browning, Phillip Brooks, and Jeremy Mahoney.
