William Kennedy

William Earl `Bill` Kennedy, 67, Palmyra, died Friday, August 15, 2008, at Grace Health Care. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Byron Dumas officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery in Big Rock, TN. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 4, 1941 in Montgomery County. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Earl Kennedy and Gladys Selph Bryant; brother, Tony Kennedy; and sister, Linda Brown. Mr. Kennedy was a Baptist and a contruction worker and a volunteer for the rescue squad. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Garrett Kennedy; brothers, Jack Kennedy and Alvin Devasier; sisters, Brenda Taylor, Patsy Butcher, Gail Outland and Shelia Moss. Pallbearers will be Will Rye, Mike Beard, Frankie Smith, Chris Smith, Jimmy Outland and Wayne Killebrew.
