William Irby

William "Wonderful" Irby, Jr. age 83, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

William entered this life on January 21, 1940, in Memphis, TN to the late William Irby, Sr. and Thelma Rose Goddard Irby. He was a graduate of Clarksville High School, attended the University of Tennessee, was a Veteran of The United States Army. William was also a retired Realtor, Builder, and Developer. He was a skilled scuba diver and an accomplished Eagle Scout. William was a former member of Clarksville First Baptist Church and was involved with Unity church in Florida. Most recently, he had been attending Mosaic Church. William was also a former alcoholic, and through his recovery journey he founded  Life Center for Drug and Alcohol Addiction. His life was dedicated to helping people,

Survivors include his wife, Kenne-Jean Irby; children, Charlotte Frazier, Bill Irby (wife, Eileen), and Charles Irby; grandchildren, Donald Frazier, Mark Frazier, Amanda Denson, William David Irby, and Hannah Denson, and great-granddaughter, Marley Penman.
