William Gene Chester

William Gene Chester, 78, Indian Mound, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2012 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Revs. Cynthia Talley and Dwayne James officiating.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Chester was born April 18, 1933 in Montgomery County, TN and was the son of the late Norman and Lois Foster Chester.
He was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Other than his wife, Jean Walker Chester, he is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Kevin) Teets, Donna (Jeff) Hewell, Woodlawn; brothers, David Chester, Wayne Chester, Clarksville; sisters, Lucille Miracle, Clarksville, Virgie Marshall, California; grandchildren, Kevin Teets Jr., Kenneth Teets, Taylor Teets, Paige Arms, Zach Alexander, and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Woodlawn United Methodist Church, c/o Diane Chester, 2116 Old Dover Road, Woodlawn, TN 37191.
