William Gearhart

William Joe Gearhart, age 83, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. The Gearhart family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service Sunday at the Funeral Home.
Mr. Gearhart was born on February 24, 1935 in Perkins, Oklahoma. William began his military career in 1953 and served 22 years in the US Army. He was a Korean War veteran and also bravely served two years accumulatively in a combat role in Vietnam. He retired from the Army in 1975. During his retirement, William was active with the local chapter of the VFW.
Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Gearhart; daughters, Shannon (Andrew) Whited, Kara (Jason) Roberts; sister, Judy Blackstock; grandchildren, Joshua Niswander, Devan Gearhart, Paige (Corey) Jenkins, Christopher Roberts, John Niswander; great-grandchildren Zoie Jenkins.
