William Eugene Jackson

William Eugene Jackson, age 81, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Celebration of Life will be held 2 pm Sunday, September 12, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Betty Meriwether and Rev. Randy Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Sunday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Eugene entered this life on March 18, 1940, in Montgomery County, TN to the late William and Elsie Sebree Jackson. He was the Pastor for Sailors Rest United Methodist Church and was the owner of Jackson’s Food Town. Eugene was also a co-member of Sailors Rest, and Palmyra United Methodist Church. Eugene also had membership with Memory Lane Cruisers and the United Methodist Church Layman’s Club.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Bumpus Jackson; sons, Randy (Donna) and Chip (Anita) Jackson; daughter, Kimberley Jackson Jones; grandchildren Caitlin Raeann Jackson, Cheryl Randee Jackson, Shelby Lynn Jackson, and Cole Douglas Jackson; brother, Michael Ray Jackson; sisters, Marie Jackson Smithson, Linda Jackson Boyte, and Helen Jackson Hall; brother-in-law, Charles Douglas Bumpus, and his wife Linda Bumpus.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St, Jude’s, Sailor’s Rest UMC, Palmyra UMC, or Huntington’s Disease society of America.
