William Edgar `Bill` Chambers III, 75, Clarksville, died Friday, September 26, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Mimosa Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, TN. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
A Masonic Service will be held 7 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel.McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born August 17, 1933 in Lawrenceburg, TN and was the son of the late, William E. Chambers Jr. and Rachel Bryan Chambers. Mr. Chambers was a Chemist with the State of Tennessee, a graduate of Austin Peay State University, He was a Past Master, Past High Priest and Past Commander of Masonic Lodge #89 and Past President of the Riding Club. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his sister, Martha Hunter, Houston, TX; caregiver, Loretta Forte, Clarksville.
