William Leon Brashear, age 75 of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Eads officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday.
William was born on November 5, 1940 in Upton, KY, the son of the late Richard Brashear and Mildred Sutherland Brashear. He was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church and served 11 years in the U.S. Army. After being honorably discharged, he worked as a mechanic for Civil Service.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Eads Brashear; son, Kenneth (Christine Neidert) Brashear; daughters, Denise (Garry) Hudgens, Tina (Edward Greene) Dachtler, and Jennifer (David Balde) Martoccia; brothers, David, Randall, and Walter Brashear; sisters, Glenda Wright and Mary Martha Brashear; grandchildren, Zach (Natalie) McCarver, Beth (Sonny) Bumgardner, Jeffrey Hudgens, Josh (Chrissy), Matt (Darby), and Jacob Dachtler, Mercedes, Christian, and Lexie (C.J. Ingle) Martoccia, Dale and Nick Neidert, and Cheyenne Stamper; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
