William Atkins

William Dean Atkins, 70, Stuart Florida passed away October 20, 2021 in Stuart, FL.
William was born March 19,1951 in Clarksville, TN to the late William Henry Atkins and Elsie Christine Watson Atkins. He is also preceded in death by brothers, James Wesley Atkins and Glenn Henry Atkins and brother-in-law, Ronald T. Smith.
He is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Day Atkins and her fiancé, Robert Harding; son, Steven Henry Atkins, and daughter-in-law, Megan Atkins; sisters, Allie Earleen Atkins Smith and Elsie Atkins Marklin; brother-in-law, Dudley Marklin; sisters-in-law, Olean Atkins and Margaret A. Atkins. William also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
William graduated from Montgomery Central High School. He served in The U.S. Navy, and later worked at the Nuclear Power Plants in several states. He loved reading, fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping at Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.
