Willard Hyde Willard Hyde, Retired CW4, 90, Clarksville, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. LeNoir Culbertson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Willard was born in Brighton, Iowa the son of Ruthford Burch Hyde and Maude Evelyn Hagan Hyde. CW4 Hyde was retired from the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of WWII, Korean War and Viet Nam. After his military career he also retired from The Department of Defense. Willard was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church, Queen City Masonic Lodge #761, National Sojurners Chapter 177 at Ft. Campbell, and the Retired Officers Association. Survivors include his wife, Violet Cubbage Hyde, Clarksville; sons, Willard Nelson Hyde Jr., Richardson, TX, Jerry Lee Hyde, Clarksville, TN; and five grandchildren.
