Wiley Carr Thompson Jr., 71, Clarksville,TN, died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at his residence. The remains are to be cremated. No services are planned. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Thompson was born June 23, 1938 in Aurora, NC, son of the late Wiley Carr Thompson Sr. and Catharine Patrick Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a Sales Repersentive for an Interior Design Company, and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict from 1956 till 1960. Survivors include his daughter Catherine Van Elsacker(James) of Clarksville; stepson Josh Blum of PA.; sisters Lu Bowman and Sallie Jolly both of Virgina, and six grandchildern.
