Wendell Riggins

Wendell L. Riggins Sr., 66, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Keith Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Riggins was born April 7, 1949 in Clarksville and was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Edward and Marine Williams Riggins; four brothers; and five sisters.
He was owner and operator of Riggins Trucking Company, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps; member of Trinity Baptist Church and Masons Lodge #0089.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Sharp Riggins; sons, Wendell Riggins Jr., Charles Riggins, John Riggins; brother, Bobby Riggins; sisters, Cindy Mugridge, Helen Riggins; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Riggins, Clint Gibson, David Riggins, Veron Riggins, James Taylor, John Riggins, Michael Shelby and Jackie Lovins.
