Wendell Reed

Wendell Ray Reed, age 71 of Cumberland Furnace, TN, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A celebration of his life will be held 2pm Friday, October 23, 2015 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Chambers and Bro. Gene Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery.
The Reed family will receive friends on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Wendell entered this life on June 18, 1944 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Joseph and Emma Shaffer Reed. Wendell was a faithful member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Wendell was preceded in death by his son, Michael Reed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Reed; son, Mark Reed; sister, Linda Miller, and five grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Reed, Joseph Reed, Kyle Lamastus, Gary Keeton, Carl Self JR, Greg Miller, Neal Foster, and David Foster.
