Wayne Young

Wayne Young, 68, Clarksville, died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. A celebration of his life will be held 12 noon, Monday, March 14, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Pastor Kim Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Young was born April 7, 1942 in Detroit, MI and was the son of the late Orvill Burton and Mildred Snider Young. He was a retired U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of Fountain of Life Church. Survivors include his wife, Doris Carter Young, Clarksville; sons, Keith Young, Virginia, TC Campbell, Clarksville; daughters, Michelle Young, Georgia, Mai (SGT Michael) Oslavic, Ft. Hood, TX; brother, Franklin Young, and sister Elaine Gray, both of Georgia; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchidlren.
