Wayne Richardson

W.R. Richardson (Uncle Wayne) 91, son of Jim and Hazel Roby Richardson, Husband of Mary B. Richardson for 71 years left this life March 16, 2017 to join his wife who passed away two Weeks earlier on March 1, 2017. He was a lifelong native of Houston County and served with the U.S.Army 75th infantry Division in World War II at the battle of the Bulge. He was an Elder of The Cumberland Presbyterian Church, member of Masonic Lodge #300 of Erin, Tennessee and retired as a Machinist from The Tennessee Valley Authority. He and his wife lived several years as residents of Oakbrook Retirement Home at Erin, Tennessee. He and his wife dedicated their lives to family, church and their community. Wayne was survived by six surviving cousins. A celebration of his life will be 2pm Monday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Ferrell, and Rev. Paul Moody officiating visitation will be from 9am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
