Wayne Meadows

Wayne Hunter Meadows, age 73, passed away at home with his loving family by his side on Monday, October 30, 2023 in Dover TN.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Moore Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Mathis officiating. Full military honors will be rendered.

The Meadows family will receive friends from10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home.

Wayne entered this life on February 23, 1950, in Stewart County, TN, son to the late Hawkins and Mary Meadows.

Wayne was a hard worker and provider for his family. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army where he was a proud Vietnam War Veteran.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his siblings, Hilda Baker, Geraldine Jackson, Eugene Meadows, Raleigh Meadows; along with step children, Tammy Cardwell (Cobb), and Charles Walker Jr.

He is survived by his wife Katie Meadows, siblings, Glyn Meadows, Marilyn Hall, Janice Lockwood, James Cordell Meadows, Elizabeth Bennett; step children, Charlsie Baggett (Walker), Terry Cobb; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
