Wayne Bradford Gillespie, age 71 of Clarksville, TN passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, at University of Tennessee Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Wayne entered this life on March 4, 1950, in Norwood, Massachusetts to the late Charles and Virginia Chambers Gillespie. He was a graduate of University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a bachelor’s degree in Forestry. Wayne was very in tune with nature and could grow anything. He was a Veteran of The United States Army and was 100% disabled from his time in Vietnam. Wayne was a custom log home builder and contractor. He was a spiritual and family man and will be missed dearly by many.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Terri Clay Gillespie; children, Layla (Brian) Kanyuh, Whitney (Timothy) Smith, Wes Gillespie, and Clay Gillespie; grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, Sara, Ryan, Dalton, Hayden, Kendall, and Tyler, and five great-grandchildren.
