Wanda Gordon

Wanda Virginia Gordon, age 93, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at her home.

She will be laid to rest at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Private family services will be held.

Wanda entered this life on April 5, 1931 in Dayton, TN to the late Condon and Virginia Barger. She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening and playing slot machines. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Richard Owensby, and her second husband, Leon Gordon. She is also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Delores (Jerry) Bomar, Steve (Pat) Owensby, Lisa Owensby, and Tina (Mike) Terry; brother, Donald Barger; grandchildren, Gabrielle (Ryan) Bennett, Bailey Bomar, Shayne (Katelyn) Owensby, Taryn Covington, Megan Covington, Chase Hobbs, Candis (Crystal) McCord, and Alex (Nate) Rivers. She also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren and one on the way.
