Waltraud Scruggs

Waltraud Gerda Scruggs, age 95 of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Waltraud entered this life on August 16, 1926 to the late Heinrich Rinke and Elisabeth Mueller Rinke. A German native, she met the love of her life, William during his honorable years of service in The United States Army. She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, MSG (Ret) William P. Scruggs.
Survivors include her son, Ralph Scruggs; daughters, Connie Lee and Maureen (Eddie) Ballard; grandchildren, Bryan Evans, Kevin Lee, and Erin (Steven) Kelly and great-granddaughter, Grace Kelly.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
