Waltraud M. "Trudy" Wall, 79, Clarksvile, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, October 27, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Tom Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wall was born on October 29, 1931 in Schwabisch Hall, Germany and was preceded in death by her parents, Friedrick and Martha Judenhahn Wieland; and her brother, Hans Weiland.
She was a long time member of the First Christian Church in Clarksville.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, CSM (Ret) William Thomas Wall, Sr.; son, W. Thomas Wall, Jr. (Anne), Brentwood, TN; daughters, Wanda Baughn (Brent), Harker Heights, TX, Melissa Stump (Bud), Clarksville; Pam Self (Norman), Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Erik Baughn, Michael Baughn, Ellen Wall, Cody Self, Mathew Wall, Jacob Self; and one great-granddaughter, Sasha Baughn.
Pallbearers will be W. Thomas Wall Jr., Norman Self, Bud Stump, Mathew Wall and Jacob Self. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Self, Erik Baughn and Michael Baughn.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Cats Are Us, 119 Providence Blvd, Clarksville, TN 37042 or First Christian Church, 516 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
