Waltraud Habersetzer

Waltraud I. Habersetzer, 76, Clarksville, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Select Specialty Hospital, Nashville. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. A burial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Nashville National Cemetery. She was born March 9, 1933 in Berlin, Germany and was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Gertda Behrendt; and her husband, Orville Habersetzer. Mrs. Habersetzer was a homemaker, a Catholic, member of Retired Army Officers Association, and participated in the Local German Group. She is survived by her son, Roy Habersetzer, Clarksville; daughters, Dianne M. Habersetzer, Clarksville, Ramona L. Habersetzer, Culpepper, VA; sister, Ursula Neye, Germany; and grandson, Jon Habersetzer.
