Walton Ross Reddick, known as “Ross”, who dedicated the majority of his working life to the farming industry, serving the Powers Family Farms, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at his home in Palmyra, Tennessee. He was born on February 23, 1959, in Montgomery County. Ross, affectionately known as a hardworking and loyal individual, leaves behind a legacy of commitment and passion for his work.
In his leisure time, Ross found joy in simple pleasures such as fishing and barbecuing. His love for these hobbies reflected his down-to-earth nature and appreciation for the outdoors.
Ross is survived by his son Dustin Reddick and daughter Tonya Reddick. Dustin's wife Kelsie and Tonya's significant other Justin Parker were cherished members of Ross’ extended family circle. He is also survived by his sisters Nancy Stone and Laverne Hicks, along with Laverne's husband John. Additionally, he leaves behind his grandchildren Amber, Alaina, Tyler, and Hunter, and his special niece, Kandi Gordon.
The services to honor the life of Ross will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home in Clarksville, Tennessee. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 29 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, March 30 from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
Ross will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his work in the farming industry and for the love he shared with his family and friends. May he rest in peace knowing he touched the lives of many with his kindness and hard work.
