Walter Taylor, Sr.

Walter Lee Taylor, Sr., 67,of Clarksville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2017 in his home with his wife Wanda Taylor by his side. Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on January 29, 1950 to Otis, Sr. and Eunice Taylor. He was affectionately known to many as "Putty" to others as "Brother Taylor". He loved people and was a joy to be around. He was married to Wanda Marie Taylor on July 12, 1980 and they enjoyed 36 years of marriage. He was a devoted husband and father. He was a member of Abundant Life Outreach Center where he proudly served as an usher. He is preceded in death by his parents Otis, Sr. and Eunice, his brother Steve Taylor and his sister Stella Harris. Survivors include his wife Wanda Marie Taylor, two sons Walter Lee Taylor, Jr. and Anthony Leon Taylor and his wife Angela of Clarksville, Tennessee; sister Eunice Taylor of Lebanon, Kentucky; sister Mary Jane Porter of Louisville, Kentucky; sister Martha Ann "mousie" Faulkner of Lebanon, Kentucky; sister Barbara Kaye of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brother Otis Taylor, Jr. of Lebanon, Kentucky; brother Larry Taylor of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brother Eddie Taylor of Lebanon, Kentucky; granddaughter Dallis Lilly Taylor of Clarksville, Tennessee; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Pallbearers of Lebanon, Kentucky will be Kenneth Taylor, Timmy Taylor, T.J. Jones, Terrill Williams, Eddie Taylor and George Hayden.
Pallbearers of Clarksville, Tennessee will be Christopher Gonzales, Willie Reeves, Kevin Smith, Lionel Gilkes III, Nicholas Collier and Scott Hurston.
A Memorial Service will be held at First Bapist Church, N. Depot Street, Lebanon, Kentucky on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 3pm.
The visitation and funeral service will be held at Abundant Life Outreach Center, 119 Chapel Street, Clarksville, Tennesse on Tuesday, May 16. Visition 9:00am, Funeral Service 11:00am, Interment 2:00pm
