Walter Lowery

Walter Jerry Lowery, age 73 of Erin, TN, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN after a courageous and long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Neal and Bro. Charles Thornburg officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowery Family Cemetery.
The Lowery family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon at the funeral home.
Walter entered this life on November 30, 1945 in Erin, TN, son to the late Wilburn and Olita Lowery. Walter was a loving father, grandfather and brother to his family.
In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Jodi Lowery; brothers, Freddy Lowery, Leroy Lowery and Dean Lowery.
Survivors include his loving children, Kimberly Lowery, Jeffery Lowery; sister, Norma Hill; brothers, Charles Lowery, Donnie Lowery, Terry Lowery and Jimmy Lowery. Walter also leaves behind his two grandsons, Cameron Shapiro and Devon Lowery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
