Walter Glenn Leslie Jr., 19, Clarksville, went to be with his Lord, Monday, November 2, 2015.
A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Woodlawn with Rev. Jody Kilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the church.
Walter was born March 29, 1996 in Montgomery County. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Nathan Leslie; paternal grandmother, Mary Alice Leslie; and maternal Oma, Erika Braun.
He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Woodlawn, a 2014 graduate of Northwest High School where he loved competing in varsity cross country and varsity wrestling; was currently a sophomore at Austin Peay State University and worked with his father at Leslie Concrete Service.
He is survived by his parents, Walter and Lisa Leslie; birth mother, Pamela K. Young; brothers, Tyler Leslie, Lucas Leslie, Dexter Young, Joel Blackmon; sisters, Ashley (Deondre) Leslie-Davidson; Allison (Torrey) Leslie-Taylor; paternal grandfather, Walter Leslie; maternal Opa, Friedrich Braun; and grandparents, Paul and Patricia Young.
