Walter Lurton Eads, age 93, of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Tennova Healthcare.
A Graveside Service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Ted Denny & Rev. Danny Eads officiating.
Walter entered into this life on January 11, 1927, to the late Percy and Etha Tuberville Eads in Palmyra, TN. He retired after many years in the Tobacco industry. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Marie Eads; brothers, Hubert Eads, Doug Eads, Lee Eads, James Eads, Ray Eads, and William Eads.
Survivors include his son, Bobby (Brigitte) Eads; daughter, Linda (Ronnie) Swift; grandchildren, Allison Embry, Tracie Burris, Rhonda Bryant, Bryan Eads, Tammy Axley; great-grandchildren, Austin Bryant, Ashton and Aaron Bryant, Tate Burris, Olivia Burris, Shayla Embry and Aden Embry, Brooklyn Axley, Shelby Axley, Tyler Eads, and Justin Eads; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Cherry Mae Hamilton, Betty Sue Eads, Rebecca Lee, and Martha Brashear.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
