Virginia McDonald

Virginia Ruth McDonald, 83, Clarksville, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave Larson Chapel with Rev. Doug Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. She was born March 5, 1926 in Jonesville, Virginia and was the daughter of the late, William Elihu and Mary Price Carroll. Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker and a member of Little Hope Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, William Carl (Martha) Edwards, Clarksville, Roger Timothy (Chong) Edwards, Clarksville; sister, Mary Jewell McCormac; sister, Lois McPherson, Dollie Nolen, eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Edwards, Lee Weatherford, Dakota Brown, Burnie Green, Aaron Edwards, W. Carl Edwards II, Burnie Green III, Devin Weatherford and Zackery Pruett.
