Virginia (Jenny) McCollom

Virginia L. (Jenny) McCollom, age 90, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013, Graveside at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Donnie McCollom officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8p.m. Monday and 11a.m. to 1p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Jenny was born in Houston County on September 14, 1922 the daughter of Jasper and Effie Welker Reynolds. She was a Member of Brewers Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Fredrick Harry Hexamer in 1945, second husband, Robert McCollom in 2000, sons, Monroe Reynolds and James (Tuffy ) Hexamer, father by marriage, Ray Underwood, half-brother, Curtis Reynolds and half-sister, Bessie Upchurch.
Survivors include, sons, Greg McCollom, Sr. of Clarksville and Donnie (Kim) McCollom of Texas, daughter, Betty (Jerome) Hall of Texas, Erma Neuville, of Clarksville, 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
