Virginia B. Croley, age 80 of Clarksville passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. B.J. Brack and Rev. Cynthia Talley officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Virginia was born on August 20, 1934 in Williamsburg, KY, the daughter of the late James Hardwick and Bertha Groves Hardwick. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband 1 SG (Ret) Jessie B. Croley and her brother, James Rains. She was a member of New Providence Methodist Church and she loved to do puzzles, read, bowling, bingo, and yard work.
She is survived by her sons, Lonnie (Mary Ann) Croley of Dover, Donnie (Carmella) Croley of Cookeville, and Marvin (Nancy) Croley of White Bluff; daughter, Gail (Carl) Brown of Clarksville; brothers, Ronald Rains and George (Vivian) Groves; sister, Bertie Faye (Dennis) Young; brother-in-laws, Wade Croley and Jerry Croley; sister-in-law, Phyllis Rains; grandchildren, Kimberly Harris, Jason Quisenberry, Rebecca Baggett, Michael Croley, Michelle Sanford, and Jennifer Croley; great-grandchildren, Austin Croley, Liam Croley, Wyatt Croley, Colton Harris, Adam Harris, Braxton Baggett, Baylor Baggett, Brenner Sanford, Griffen Sanford, Jakob Quisenberry, and Madelyn Quisenberry; cousin, George Henry (Trudy) Siler.
