Virginia Jolane Burks, age 75 formerly of Erin, TN, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 in Columbia, TN.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Monday afternoon.
Jolane entered this life on April 19, 1943 in Pontotoc, Mississippi, daughter to the late Levoy Coleman and Lillian Etoy Youngblood.
In addition to her parents, Jolane was preceded in death by her husband, George Burks; daughter Tina Tutor, and sister, Marguerite Edniston.
Survivors include her son, Kirby Tutor; daughters, Tracie Maddox; brother, Billy Bibat; and sister, Angela Dale Medile. Jolane also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Tiffany Watkins, Ashlee Mitchell, Erin Tutor, Kaylee Tutor; and loving great-grandchildren, Luke and Harlee Watkins.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
