Virginia `Wanette` Bridges, 65, Clarksville, formerly of Abilene, TX, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at her home. No services are planned. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born November 24, 1941 in Clovis, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her father, Jefferson Melvin Hooper; mother, Lillian Catherine Early; daughter, Cassandra Kim Colombo. Mrs. Bridges was a Homemaker and a Presbyterian. Survivors include her son, Timothy (Tonya) Bridges, Clarksville; step-fahter, Don Early, Abilene, TX; sister, Janette (Gary) Hooker, Abilene, TX; brother, Robert Hooper, Abilene, TX; granddaughters, Tiffany (Jason) Wright, Vanessa Rae Bridges; grandsons, Timothy S.D. Bridges, Zachary Bowman, Josh Perkin, Tad Perkin, Brandon Dunnam; nephew, Leslie "Biff" Strange; niece, Carrie Ann Strange. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
