Virgil Ray Baggett SR, age 76 of Erin, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Brakeview Cemetery.
The Baggett family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon.
Virgil entered this life on June 23, 1940 in Stewart County, TN, son to the late Preston and Oneida Anderson Baggett.
In addition to his parents, Virgil was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Baggett.
Survivors include daughters, Rhonda Pride, Paula Price, Dana Baggett, Donna Moulton; sons, JR Baggett, David Baggett; brother, Terry Baggett; sisters, Gaynell Stavely, Nora Jean Harper; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chaz Richardson, Steven Richardson, Kenneth Welker, Patrick Hester, Mark Baggett, Matthew Richardson, Franklin Molton, and Matt Pride. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Roger Price, Shawn Popp, and Charles Biggs.
