Verda Hyde

Verda Gertrude Hyde, 90, Clarksville, died Sunday, May 16, 2010, at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2010 at Purcell Funeral Home, Bushnell, Florida. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born January 3, 1920 in Kingsbury, IN, daughter of the late Willis Welcome Low and Agnes Mary Jane Healey Low. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James H. Hyde, and their son son, Frederick James Hyde. She and her husband were full time pastors in Lawrence, Michigan and loved to minister to people wherever they traveled including Germany and Israel as well as across America. Survivors include her daughter Mary (Louis) Toth of Clarksville, grandchildren Tricia (David) Loveless, David (Beth) DePew, and Steven (Sarah) DePew, all of Clarksville, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
