Vera Sutton

Vera Estella Sutton, 74, Lavergne, died Sunday, September 19, 2010, at Alive Hospice at Skyline Madison Campus. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. James Black officiating. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery, Dickson County, TN. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. She was born June 16, 1936 in Dickson County and was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Addie Murphy Sutton; brother, Lonnie Sutton; and sister, Nellie Owens. Ms. Sutton was a retired hostess for Hampton Inn and attended First Baptist Church of Lavergne. Survivors include her brother, Gilbert (Judy) Sutton, Florence, MS; sister, Gwen (Tommy) Minniehan; and dogs, Cassie and Gizmo. Pallbearers will be Allen Cochran, James Horton, Stacy Wall, Michael Difiore, Joseph Minniehan and Brian Minniehan.
