TSGT (Ret) Carter Rayford Hurd, age 80, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at his home in Clarksville.
His remains will be cremated.
Carter entered this life on August 10, 1933 in Dickenson, Virginia, son to Orbin and Ina Keith Hurd. Carter was retired from a prestigious 20 year career with the U.S. Air Force. He was a loving and dedicated family man and especially enjoyed fishing, camping, blue grass music, and playing the banjo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judythe Hurd.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, three children, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
