Trent McLaurin

Trent L. McLaurin, 43, Clarksville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Alive Hospice, Nashville. A homegoing service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, November 13, 2010 at City of David Christian Center, 815 Crossland Ave., Clarksville, TN with Pastor William E. Martin III officiating. A graveside service will not be held. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Trent was born May 9, 1967 in Gulfport, Mississippi, son of John W. and Sarah Turnage McLaurin. He was employed with Quebecor Printing, was a member of City of David Christian Center, and was a 15 year U.S. Army Veteran, having dutifully served in Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. In addition to his parents of Gulfport, MS, survivors include his wife Shona McLaurin, son Trent McLaurin II, and daughter Shachia McLaurin, all of Clarksville, brother Terry McLaurin and sister Joann (Eric) Magee all of Gulfport, MS. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny McNair, Thomas McNair, Eric Magee, Stephen Hecht, Terry McLaurin, and Charles Smith. Memorials may be made to the Trent L.
