Travis Beard - 1941 Travis Oliver Beard, 68, Cumberland City, died Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11am Saturday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.David Hardin officiating. Burial will be in Beard Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Friday and from 8am until service Saturday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born April 15, 1941 in Houston County,Tn. son of the late Travis and Eunice Parchman Beard. Survivors include two sons John Beard of Dickson,Tn. William Beard of Erin,Tn. one daughter Emma Whitaker of Erin,Tn. three brothers Michael Beard of Tn.Ridge,Tn.Terry Beard and Donald Beard both of Cumberland City,Tn.four sisters Naomi Kuykendall and Margaret Rye both of Erin,Tn.Golda Smith of Nashville,Tn.Eugenia Castleberry of Paris,Tn. nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
