Tony Davis

Tony Arnold Davis, age 70, of Southside, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Tennova Healthcare.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. James Black officiating. Burial will follow at Miller’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Tony entered into this life on August 24, 1951, in Clarksville, TN to the late Roger and Fannie Holt Davis. He was a member of Miller’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Gilbert Davis, Cecil Davis, Michael Davis; sister, Kay Martin.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jean Hinton Davis; daughter, Misty Davis, Robin (Nathan) Young; grandchildren, J.T. Holliday, Asia Holliday, Kristen (Jon) Gayda; great-grandchildren, Keighton Price, Hunter Moss.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests planting a tree in Tony’s memory or making contributions to the Miller’s Chapel Youth Fund.

Pallbearers will be Russell Black, Timmy Swaw, Kevin Shaffer, Matt Davis, Johnny Davis, James Holliday, Terry Newsom, Ricky Davis.
