Dr. Tommy C. Meadows, 70, Clarksville, died Monday, December 6, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 9 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Pastor Hae W. (David) Lee officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Navy Honors. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born February 1, 1940 in North Carolina, son of Holk and Hattie Billings Meadows. Dr. Meadows has a Doctorate in Economics and was currently a Professor for the College of Business at Austin Peay State University where he has been teaching for 32 years. He was a member and Deacon of New Hope Presbyterian Church and had served in the U.S. Navy at which time he was involved with the Bay of Pigs invasion. In addition to his father of Franklin, NC he is survived by his wife, Song Cha Kaong Meadows of Clarksville, son Daniel Meadows of Clarksville, brother Jesse Meadows of Franklin, NC, and sister Lucy Smarr of SC. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be past and present Professors from the College of Business at Austin Peay State University and current Deacons from New Hope Presbyterian Church.
