Tommy Ralph Jacks, 69, devoted husband, loving father and generous friend,
left his earthly body Wednesday after a long battle with Parkinson’s. A celebration
of life service will be held Sunday at 2pm at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel
with Rev. Byron Dumas officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 4-8pm and Sunday 1pm until the time of service. A distinguished Vietnam veteran and retired army sergeant first class
and civil servant, Tom met and married the love of his life Connie Louise in the
spring of 1970. They share two children Kimberly and husband JR, and Dale
each bringing a grandchild to the family, Wesley Chavez Terrill and McKenzie Ann Jacks Additionally, Tom was very proud of his stepdaughters, Cindy, Gloria and Barbara and 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Tom was honored with the bronze star for meritorious service, the meritorious service medal, air medal with 2nd oak leaf cluster and the
army commendation ribbon with one oak leaf cluster. He received the Vietnam service
medal with 11 campaign stars. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
